Harold Gene Adams age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Paintsville ARH in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born March 12,1945 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Rex Adams and the late Martha Rowe Adams Gilbert.
Survived by one son, Terry Adams of Salyersville, Kentucky, five daughters, Sheila (Darrell) Perkins, Sherry (Danny) Fletcher, Carol (Ronald) Fletcher, Sally (Danny) Cole all of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dixie (Richard) Caldwell of Royalton Kentucky, one brother, Ronnie Gilbert of Royalton, Kentucky, one step-brother, Junior Gilbert of Paintsville, Kentucky, four step-sisters, sisters, Audrey Lusby of Jackson, Michigan, Wanda Blodgett of Oakland, Kansas, Wanda Arnett of Royalton, Kentucky, Barbara Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, twenty-six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Norma Kay Cook, one brother, James Buford Adams, and one sister, Juanita Cole.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2023 from the Salyersville Pentecostal Church of Christ with Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Gipson Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church all day Thursday, April 27, 2023, and any time prior to funeral services on Friday.
