SALYERSVILLE – Emergency services and law enforcement responded to a 911 call over the weekend of a small child being injured in a motorized vehicle accident.
On Sunday, April 28 afternoon, a call came in the Magoffin County 911 Dispatch indicating that a small child, with an approximate age of 3, had been reportedly struck by a dirt bike at or near a residence located at the mouth Lakeville.
Upon arrival of EMS, it was determined that the child could be suffering from possible internal injuries, so the juvenile was life-flighted from the landing zone behind Subway to a trauma center.
No other information regarding the accident or the child’s condition is available at press time.
