Sharon K. Hunley Phillips, age 68, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, formally of Salyersville, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio after a lengthy illness.
Sharon was born July 10, 1956 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Froy and Ida Mae Caudill Hunley. Sister, Sue Anderson, brothers, Jack Hunley, Gary “Leroy” Hunley, Troy Lee Hunley also preceded in death.
Sharon was employed as a truck driver until her retirement. She loved spending time with her husband, Herb, along with family and friends.
Those left to mourn includes husband, Herb Phillips of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter, Tammie Sue Howard and husband Joey of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Rodney Phillips and wife Tracy of Lexington, Kentucky, Bradley Phillips and wife Carmel of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Tim Hunley and wife Tina of West Liberty, Kentucky, sisters, Wanda Whitt of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cleo Rita Harmon of Clyde, Ohio, Ruth Ann Miller of Jacksonville, Florida, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Sharon K. Hunley Phillips were conducted Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Justin Williams and Tim Jenkins delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Hunley Cemetery on Vanzel Borders Road in Salyersville, Kentucky.
