PAINTSVILLE — The JCHS Shot Put & Discus Throwing Clinic is set to be held at Johnson Central High School from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.
Coach Tim Ferguson will host the throwing clinic.
The fee for the clinic is $40 per athlete. The fee includes a T-shirt and a stretching/drill band.
Coaches are encouraged to attend the clinic with their athlete(s) at no additional cost.
The clinic will include shot put instruction, discus technique development, drills and skill progressions, competition tips and individual feedback.
Athletes need to bring their own implements.
The clinic is limited to 25 participants.
Registration is due by Friday, July 3.
