Back-to-back MC hoops games canceled due to COVID-19

SALYERSVILLE – After exiting the opening week of the 2020-21 girls’ high school basketball season 1-1, Magoffin County had back-to-back games canceled due to COVID-19.

SALYERSVILLE - After exiting the opening week of the 2020-21 girls' high school basketball season 1-1, Magoffin County had back-to-back games canceled due to COVID-19.

SALYERSVILLE – After exiting the opening week of the 2020-21 girls’ high school basketball season 1-1, Magoffin County had back-to-back games canceled due to COVID-19.

Magoffin County was scheduled to visit Montgomery County on Monday, Jan. 11.

The Lady Hornets were slated to venture to Lawrence County on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Both girls’ high school basketball game were canceled as a result of the virus.

At press time on Wednesday, Magoffin County was set to host Fairview.

The Lady Hornets are slated to visit Johnson Central for a 57th District hoops matchup on Friday, Jan. 15.

Magoffin County has additional regular season games remaining versus Lawrence County, Fairview, Johnson Central, Breathitt County, Betsy Layne, Paintsville, Martin County, Morgan County, Cordia, East Ridge, Prestonsburg, Buckhorn, Floyd Central and Lee County.
