Dorsie Rife Salyer age 59, passed away Wednesday, 23, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born March 19, 1965 in McDowell, Kentucky to the late Ronnie Rife and Shirley Lykins who survives.
Survived by her husband, Timmy Salyer, three daughters, Samantha (David Neil) Montgomery of Salyersville, Kentucky, Blaine (Scott McKenzie) Davidson of Bath County, Kentucky, Veronica (Jason) Arnett of Paintsville, Kentucky, three brothers, Travis Rife, Richard J. Rife, Ronnie E. (Minnie) Rife all of Salyersville, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Haylee Woodard, Peyton Bailey, Weston Bailey, Kinslee Bailey, Penelope Arnett, and Emalyn Arnett.
In addition to her father, Dorsie is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Rife, and one sister, Judy Davidson.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 26, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Malcom Slone officiating. Burial followed in the Rife Cemetery at Stanton, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
