INA, Ill. — Lucas Litteral is off to a 2-0 start on the mound in his first season with the Rend Lake College baseball team.
A Magoffin County High School graduate, Litteral is 2-0 through his first three starts. Litteral, a left-handed pitcher, has notched wins in two of three starts, pitching his team past St. Charles Community College and Volunteer State Community College. Litteral has recorded 29 strikeouts and compiled a 1.06 ERA.
Through three games, Litteral has limited opposing teams to two earned runs.
Rend Lake College, located in Ina, Illinois, competes in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference (GRAC). The GRAC includes Rend Lake College, Wabash Valley College, John A. Logan College, Lake Land College, Shawnee Community College, Kaskaskia College, Lincoln Trail College, Southwestern Illinois, Olney Central College and Southeastern Illinois College.
Prior to college, Litteral (6-5, 170) starred in both baseball and football at Magoffin County High School.
