SALYERSVILLE — The Magoffin County-Betsy Layne girls’ basketball game scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4 has been canceled.
Familiar foes, Magoffin County and Betsy Layne are 15th Region rivals.
Following a postponement, Betsy Layne has to host Lawrence County for a 58th District girls’ basketball game on Friday, Feb. 4.
Magoffin County was hosting 14th Region member June Buchanan on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Results from the Magoffin County-June Buchanan girls’ basketball game were unavailable at press time.

Magoffin County is scheduled to visit June Buchanan for another high school hoops matchup on Monday, Feb. 7.
Opponents from the 15th and 14th regions fill Magoffin County’s remaining regular season schedule.
The Lady Hornets have additional regular season games remaining versus Prestonsburg, Pike County Central, Martin County, Jackson City, Wolfe County and East Ridge.
Magoffin County is scheduled to compete in the 57th District Girls’ Basketball Tournament later in the month.
