SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County basketball teams are headed into season openers.
The Hornets are slated to visit Pike County Central for a season opener on Thursday, Dec. 2. Tip-off for the Magoffin County-Pike County Central boys’ basketball game is set for 7:30 p.m.
Magoffin County and Pike County Central split a pair of games during the 2020-21 boys’ high school basketball season.
Following a loss to Paintsville in the semifinals of the 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament, Magoffin County exited the 2020-21 boys’ high school basketball season 12-12.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to host Jenkins for a season opener on Monday, Nov. 29. Tip-off for the Magoffin County-Jenkins girls’ basketball game is set for 7:30 p.m.
