SALYERSVILLE — Meet the Hornets is scheduled to be held at the Magoffin County High School Football Field ay 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30.
Fans will be able to meet the Magoffin County high school, middle school and elementary football, volleyball, cheer and dance teams as well as the bands during the upcoming event.
Alumni are invited to attend Meet the Hornets. The alumni in attendance at Meet the Hornets will be introduced.
Admission will be $2 for adults and $1 for students.
Concessions will be sold during Meet the Hornets.
Magoffin County has the week of Friday, Sept. 30 open in the 2022 high school football season. The Hornets are scheduled to visit Floyd Central (district game), Pike County Central (district game), Clay County and Morgan County for away games in October.
Magoffin County won two of its five games during the first of the 2022 high school football season, notching wins over Knott County Central and Bellevue. John DeRossett is in his first season as the head coach of the Hornets
