SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County High School senior center Angel Mullis signed with the Alice Lloyd College women’s basketball program during a ceremony held in the MCHS Library on Friday, March 10.
A longtime leader, Mullis averaged a team-high 12.7 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for Magoffin County during the 2022-23 girls’ high school basketball season. Mullis scored 343 points and pulled down 232 rebounds in 27 games for Justin Williams-coached Magoffin County during her senior campaign.
As a junior in the 2021-22 girls’ high school basketball season, Mullis averaged a double-double of 11.9 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for 57th District member Magoffin County.
Alice Lloyd competes in the River States Conference. The members of the River States Conference are Alice Lloyd, Rio Grance, WVU Tech, Point Park, Ohio Christian, Carlow, Midway, Oakland City, Indiana Southeast, Indiana East, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, IU Kokomo and Brescia.
