Indian Mound Daughters of the American Revolution is partnering with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration to honor all Vietnam War Veterans and families during this 50th Anniversary. The Commission’s main objective is “To Thank and Honor Veterans of the Vietnam War, including personnel who were held prisoner of war or listed as missing in action, for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the United States and to thank and honor the families of these Veterans.”
The DAR is presenting certificates of appreciation to every Vietnam Veteran who served “in country” during the War along with a commemorative lapel pin. Those who served during the Vietnam era November 1, 1955 – May 15, 1975 are eligible also for the commemorative lapel pin. Spouses of deceased Veterans will be presented certificates as well.
For more information on how to obtain these please contact Pam Wages on Wednesdays or Thursdays after 1:00 PM at 606-349-1005.
The Indian Mound Chapter looks forward to honoring our Vietnam War Veterans!
