Wava [Banks] Arnett Davis, 98, of Francesville, IN (formerly of rural Jasper County, IN) went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She passed away peacefully at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville. She was born on June 14, 1922 in Boardtree, KY to the late Ad and Ada [Arnett] Banks. On December 30, 1967, Wava married the late Kile R. Davis in Knox, IN. He passed away on July 25, 2003.
Wava and her family moved to Rensselaer, IN in 1947 from Salyersville, KY. She worked at Wm. Gehring Farms in Jasper County, Kingsbury Ordinance Plant in Kingsbury, IN, Little Company of Mary Hospital in San Pierre, IN, and retired from Schumacher Coil Factory in Rensselaer.
Wava was a loving mother who put her children first; having raised five children on her own. She loved cooking for her family and friends every Sunday after church. Wava enjoyed reading, gardening, and canning. She loved her family very much, especially her many grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Wava was a founding and lifetime member of Teaberry Hill Estates Church in Medaryville, IN. She was also a member of T.H.E. Ladies Club.
Wava had resided at Parkview Haven for the past seven years. She loved all the nurses, therapists, and staff. Wava loved everyone and was a very kind, wise, and understanding Christian lady. She expressed her love for God to everyone she met and is now resting in the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior.

Private Burial followed at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN.
