Rita Howard Adams age 75 of Teacher Lane, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her home. She was born August 23, 1950 at Royalton, Kentucky to the late Adam “Babe” and Dollie Joseph Howard.
Survived by one son, Tony Martin Adams of Georgetown, Kentucky, one brother, Ronnie Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Amber Henry, Cody Francis, Cory Francis, Katelyn Allen, Christopher Dyer, MiKaela Adams, Kelsey Adams, and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Adams, one son, Timothy Adams, two daughters, Kimberly Adams, Christy Dyer, one granddaughter, Ashley Dyer, four brothers, Alvin Green Howard, A.B. Howard, Bobby Howard, Johnny Howard, three sisters, Geraldine Salyer, Joy Lee Salyer, Olga Lee Powers, two half sisters, Marie Holliday, and Emma Holliday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Phillip Spradlin. Burial will follow in the Howard Cemetery at Swampton, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
