Lillie Bell Howard Lyon age 89 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, Kentucky. She was born April 21, 1936 at Lick Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Cordis and Mable Baker Howard.
Survived by two sons, Jeffery (Teresa) Lyon, Stanley (Joanna) Lyon, one sister, Jewel Howard, two granddaughters, Jamie Lyon, Amberly Lyon (Joe) Davilla, three grandsons, Darren (Kristie) Woodruff, Stan (Randi) Lyon, Jr., Jacob (Amanda) Lyon, eleven great grandchildren, Dylan (Holly) Woodruff, Tucker Davilla, Hunter Woodruff, Addison Lyon, Jase Lyon, Beau Lyon, Alice Lyon, Elliott Lawson, Sadie Lyon, Wayatt Lyon, Bennett Lyon, special niece, Robin McCarty, two special friends, Heather Meade, and Kathy Salyer.
In addition to her parents, Lillie Bell is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lyon, three brothers, James Howard, Ben Howard, Fred Howard, two sisters, Betty Rose Russell, and Ruth Ellen “Cat” Jenkins.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, December 09, from the Howard-Lyon Cemetery at Lick Creek, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
