Stella Joseph Wireman age 85 of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at her home. She was born October 18, 1940 at Royalton, Kentucky to the late Kindle and Fannie Howard Joseph.
Survived by four sons, Lloyd (Mitzi) Patrick of Hobart, Indiana, Dudley “Ebbie” (Geneva) Joseph of Campton, Kentucky, Billy “Cart” (Sandra) Patrick of Royalton, Kentucky, James (Tammy) Joseph of West Liberty, Kentucky, six daughters, Zula (Steve) Massengill of Union City, Tennessee, Patricia “Trish” (Bobby) Joseph of Royalton, Kentucky, Lynn (Rick) Rowe of Royalton, Kentucky, Orville Gail Shepherd of Salyersville, Kentucky, Tabitha Lykins of Salyersville, Kentucky, Lesia Risner of Stanton, Kentucky, in addition to her sisters, her extra special sisters, Una Mae Miller of Salyersville, Kentucky, Minnie Howard of Richmond, Virginia, thirty-one grandchildren, Deanna Whittington, Laurie Anderson, Tracy Coslet, Steven Joe Massengill, Staci Taylor, Jamie Patrick, Beth Watkins, Daniel Powell, Billy Dustin Patrick, Latisha Wireman, Shena Patrick, Tineka Laird, Tiffany Patrick, Matthew Francis, Bobby Keith Joseph, Jonathan Lopez, William Joseph, Wade Joseph, William James Cleek, Courtney Hitz, Mindy Minix, Sabrina Minix, Mary Ann Walters, Kimberly Shepherd, Shane Shepherd, Ravin Paul “R.J.” Howard, Brooklin Francis, Kelly Barnett, Shawn Barnett, David Barnett, Aaron Shepherd, seventy-five great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Jay D “M.T.” Wireman, one daughter, Tammy Shepherd, eleven siblings, James Elliott Joseph, Myrtle Joseph, John Joseph, Kindle Joseph, Molly Joseph, Versie Jordan, Beecher Caudill, Annie Gipson, Zula Caudill, Ed Caudill, Mary Summa, three grandchildren, Christopher Cory Cleek, Tyler Alexander Barnett, and Gina Pointer.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 02, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with James Maynard officiating. Burial followed in the Family Cemetery at Kindle Joseph Road, Royalton, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
