Lillian Lavern Dingus Arnett age 82 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 03, 2026 at the Highlands ARH Hospital in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born April 20, 1943 at Lick Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Willie A. and Ora May Dingus.
Survived by two sons, Ellery (Connie) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Timothy Pernell Arnett of West Liberty, Kentucky, two daughters, Lillian Michelle (James) Christopher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Rachael M. (Larry) Fraley of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, daughter-in-law, Dawn Arnett, two brothers, Johnny (Karen) Dingus of West Liberty, Kentucky, Lars Russell (Barbara) of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Janet Lyon, Stella Murrell, Virginia Lynn Combs all of Salyersville, Kentucky, several grandchildren, several great- grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Lavern is preceded in death by her husband, Windell Arnett, two sons, Dwayne Arnett, Ralph Arnett, one brother, Daniel Dingus, three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lyon, Jesse Murrell, and JC Combs.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 07, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home with Jonathan Sargent and Terry Lewis officiating. Burial followed in the Gullett Cemetery at Gifford, Kentucky with Robert May officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
