Garland Bailey, age 81 of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at his home. He was born November 18, 1939, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Maude Marshall Bailey.
Survived by his wife, Debra May Kennard Bailey, three sons, Dwayne Bailey of Louisa, Kentucky, Jamie Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, Robbie Kennard of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Tonya Williams of West Liberty, Kentucky, one sister Sandra Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Garland is preceded in death by one son, David Bailey.
Garland was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Tip Top United Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 05, 2021, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Watkins officiating. Burial followed in the Bal Whitt Cemetery at Royalton, Kentucky.
Military Rites will be given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
