Pike County Central shot 48 percent (24-of-50) from the field in its win over the Hornets. The Hawks made two of nine three-point field goal attempts.
Pike County Central shot 95 percent (19-of-20) from the free throw line and outrebounded the Hornets 32-23.
Jaylan Rigdon scored a game-high 29 points to lead Pike County Central to the win.
Delivering a double-double for Pike County Central, Jaden Stewart scored 13 points and claimed 12 rebounds.
Giving Pike County Central three scorers in double figures, Brad Biliter netted 12 points for the Hawks.
Contributing offensively, Peyton Owens (eight points), Blake Adams (five points) and Peyton Compton (two points) accounted for Pike County Central’s additional scoring.
