RICHMOND — Leading the way for Magoffin County archers, Chloe Skaggs finished first in the High School Girls Division of the Model 3-D Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Skaggs, who turned in a score of 288, placed first out of 83 archers. A high school archer on the rise, Skaggs delivered 21 10s.
Shawn Montgomery shot 287 (18 10s) for the Hornets and placed second among the high school boys.
As a team, Magoffin County High School placed fourth.
A younger squad, Herald Whitaker Middle School placed third in its division.
