SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County shut out rival Morgan County 14-0 in five innings on Friday, April 26.
Laney Bledsoe pitched a three-hit shutout for Magoffin County, claiming the win in the circle. Bledsoe recorded nine strikeouts.
Magoffin County scored 14 runs on 13 hits. Bledsoe (two hits), Abby Barnett (four hits, two RBIs), Jaden Williams (two hits, three RBIs), Macy Williams (two hits), Kiley Lemaster (one hit, one RBI), Jayda Miller (one hit, one RBI) and Kayleigh Lemaster (one hit, one RBI) each produced offensively for Magoffin County in its shutout win.
Providing a lift at the plate for Magoffin County, Williams homered.
After posting the win, Magoffin County improved to 5-7.
Magoffin County is scheduled to host Morgan County for a late-season game on Thursday, May 16.
