Bobby Joe Hunley age 81 of Mine Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home. He was born August 30, 1941 at Twin Lick, Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Richard and Versie Howard Hunley.
Survived by his wife, Betty Williams Hunley, two brothers, Billy Edward Hunley, Mitchell Hunley both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Ethel Mae Gibbs of Salyersville, Kentucky, two nephews, David McCarty, Darrell Williams, one niece, Janelle Hill, and one great niece, Chloe McCarty.
In addition to his parents, Bobby Joe is preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Hunley, three sisters, Margaret Hunley, Joyce McCarty, and Edna Fay Hunley.
Bobby Joe was a painter and drywaller by trade and a dedicated member of the Litteral Fork United Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 20, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with C.J. Tackett and Joe Carroll officiating. Burial followed in the Chandler Williams Cemetery at Flat Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
