David Collins age 69 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home. He was born November 17, 1953 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Oscar and Yeardley Conley Collins.
Survived by his wife, Betty Jean Weaver Collins, one daughter, Kim (Chris) Howes of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Mikey (Sue) Collins, Jerry (Patty) Collins, James Oscar (Matilda) Collins, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Judy Dale Cain Reed of Salyersville, Kentucky, Helen Jeanette Holliday of Malone, Kentucky, one sister-in-law, Sherry Collins, two grandchildren, Amy (Jordan) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Nathaniel (Brooke) Howes of Oil Springs, Kentucky, three great grandchildren, Karsyn Faith Howard, Aleena Elizabeth Howard, and Tessa Caroline Howard.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Ann Caldwell, two brothers, Carl Collins and Larry Collins.
David was a masonry by trade and a member of the New Life Worship Center.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 01, 2023 at the New Life Worship Center with James Collins and William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Family Cemetery at Little Bear Spur, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
