Gerald “Bud” Milton Salyer II, age 47 , a resident of Chapman Ct. in Lexington, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky.
“Bud” was born May 18, 1975 in Paintsville, Kentucky the son of Gerald Salyer and the late Judy Brown Salyer.
“Bud” is a graduate of Magoffin County High School and was employed as a plumber. He was a member of the Salyersville Freewill Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was very passionate about his family and enjoyed being with them. Along with fishing and being in the outdoors.
Those left to mourn includes his father, Gerald Salyer Sr. of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Adrianna Salyer of Inez, Kentucky, Emily Salyer of Inez, Kentucky, Olivia Grace Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, Julie Page Salyer of Lexington, Kentucky, son, John Payne Salyer of Lexington, Kentucky, sisters, Alicia Blair and husband Carl of Leander, Kentucky, Faith Wilson and husband Mike of Salyersville, Kentucky, Machelle Hardin of Salyersville, Kentucky, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Gerald “Bud” Salyer II were conducted Saturday, April 8, 2023 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Floyd Arnett delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Patrick Cemetery on College Heights in Salyersville, Kentucky.
