SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County High School senior Alex Hibbens is headed to Centre College.
Hibbens made his college choice official earlier in the week, signing during a ceremony held at MCHS on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Among the top high school runners in the area, Hibbens has enjoyed success throughout his prep career. He was the top athlete for Magoffin County during the 2022 high school track and field season.
Hibbens will have an opportunity to contribute for the Colonels early in his college career.
Centre (NCAA Division III) competes in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).
Currently, Hibbens is preparing to compete for Magoffin County in the 2023 high school track and field season.
