Janie Patrick Connelley age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home. She was born January 26, 1947 in Magoffin County to the late Homer and Malta Patrick.
Survived by one son, Jonathan Russell Connelley of Riceville, Kentucky, two daughters, Mary Ann (Steve “Pup”) Miller of Port Charlotte, Florida, Janet Sue Parsons of Salyersville, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley) Connelley, Zackery (Kaylee) Connelley, Olivia (Ollie) Connelley, Emma Grace Connelley, Jade (Jessalyn) Howard, Taylor (Jordan) Hagan, Colby Howard, Cory (Katie) Campbell, Brandon (Destiny) Parsons, eleven great grandchildren, Braylon Arnett, Cooper Conley, Taytum Hagan, Kynslee Parsons, Quentin Parsons, Aubrey, Paisley, Jaxon Connelley, Madyson Connelley, Tierian Campbell, and Draven Campbell.
In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her husband, James Russell “J.R.” Connelley, four brothers, Elliott “Windy” Patrick, Oran Patrick, Floyd “Skidmore” Patrick, James “Tuffy” Patrick, and one sister Lerlean Powers.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 19, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Butch Whitaker officiating. Burial followed in the Connelley Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
