Jimmy Dean Cantrell age 59 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Royalton, Kentucky. He was born January 09, 1961 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Clara Jayne Castle Cantrell. Survivors include one son, Justin Cantrell of Royalton, Kentucky, one daughter, Trista Holbrook of Paintsville, Kentucky, three brothers, Grant Cantrell of Salyersville, Kentucky, Marion Cantrell of Oil Springs, Kentucky, William Marcus Cantrell of Staffordsville, Kentucky, three sisters, Audrey Faye Harris of Huntington, West Virginia, Elizabeth Meade of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Linda K. Thompson of Huntingtin, West Virginia, one granddaughter, Jocelyn Marie Cantrell, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition of his parents, Jimmy Dean is preceded in death by two brothers, James Wilson Cantrell, Arnold Morris Cantrell, two sisters, Martha Ann Cantrell and Shirley Mae Manns.
A private funeral services for immediately family only was conducted Wednesday November 25, 2020 from the Flat Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Carl Howard and Jim Howard officiating with William Jenkins reading of the obituary. Burial followed in the Cantrell Cemetery at Flat Gap, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
