Judy Gipson Blanton age 77 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the St. Claire Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1948 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late John and Margaret Curtis.
Survived by one son, Brian and his wife, Shadah Gipson of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Derek Howard, Channing Howard, Channa Howard, Austin Barnett, Shannon Gipson, Sophia Gipson and Brandon Clark.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Gipson, one daughter, Karen Howard and one sister, Margie Rose.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Spurlock officiating. Burial followed in the Sparks Cemetery at Dry Bread in Salyersville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Judy Blanton memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
