Minnie Rose Patrick Howard age 89 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Paintsville ARH, Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born February 24, 1934 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Brice and Martha Risner Patrick.
Surviving are two sons; Terry Lee (Linda) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky and Gary Allen (Debbie) Howard of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, two daughters; Diana (Stanley) Hensley of Salyersville, Kentucky and Charlotte Gail Hall of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Jamie Lee Howard, Kelli Blanton, Ryan Hensley and Wesley Lewis, six great grandchildren; Jayden Howard, Kaddence Hensley, Ava Hensley, Colten Blanton, Caden Blanton and Hayes Hensley.
In addition to her parents, Minnie Rose is preceded in death by her husband; James M. “Redbone” Howard, six sisters; Ressie Trusty, Maudie Hensley, Dollie May Hurn, Nellie Berymier, Nevada Craft and Ethyl Asbery, six brothers; Floyd Patrick, Bruce Patrick, Dean Patrick, Asbery Patrick, Menifee Patrick and John “Baby Boy” Risner and one son-in-law; Larry Hall.
Funeral services for Minnie Rose Patrick Howard will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick and Jimmy Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends anytime Thursday prior to funeral services.
