WEST LIBERTY – A Salyersville man died as a result of a single-vehicle collision in Morgan County on Saturday.
According to the press release from Kentucky State Police Post 8, police received a call for assistance with a single-vehicle wreck on October 31. Through the investigation, they were able to determine that Terri Lewis, 37 years old, of West Liberty, was operating a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, traveling north on KY 203. Lewis reportedly went off the roadway, striking a tree.
While Lewis was transported to Morgan County Appalachian Regional Healthcare for non-life-threatening injuries, her passenger, Justin Arnett, 29, of Salyersville, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Morgan County Coroner Raymond Vancleave.
Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Morgan County Fire and Rescue. The collision remains under investigation by KSP Post 8, Morehead.
