Spring is here and it’s horse show season! The Salyersville Masonic Lodge is having a horse show on April 22 at the Magoffin County Horse Park, with the gates opening at 3:30 p.m. and the show starting at 5 p.m. This horse show is a fundraising event for the “Coats for Kids” program, which provides warm clothes, blankets and pillows for underprivileged Magoffin County students. The Salyersville Masonic Lodge is looking for class sponsors for $50 a class, with your business or name being read off during the class. They also are looking for sponsors for the championship payouts: $500 each for the two championship classes. Checks can be made out to the Salyersville Masonic Lodge and people can contact Paul Montgomery or any other member of the Salyersville Masonic Lodge to donate or sponsor a class.
