SALYERSVILLE — Volleyball players were back on the court for open gym sessions earlier in the month, but Magoffin County will reschedule its tryouts for a later time.
Originally, Magoffin County was slated to hold tryouts on Thursday, June 20. However, tryouts were postponed prior to the start of the KHSAA Dead Period on Monday, June 24.
Magoffin County competes in the 57th District and 15th Region. The Lady Hornets compiled a 5-19 record in the 2023 high school volleyball season.
Following the conclusion of the KHSAA Dead Period in July, Magoffin County will conduct tryouts and open preseason practice. The date for the tryouts has not been announced.
Various experienced players are due to return for Magoffin County in the 2024 high school volleyball season.
Familiar opponents will fill Magoffin County’s 2024 schedule. The Lady Hornets’ 2024 schedule will be published in an upcoming edition.
