SALYERSVILLE — The Magoffin County Quarterback Club started holding signups for flag football and cheerleading on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Children in kindergarten-second grade are eligible to participate in the flag football league. A child must be 4 years old by August 1 or registered for kindergarten.
Signups are being held at the Magoffin County High School Football Field from 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. on the following dates: Thursday, Aug. 21; Monday, Aug. 25; Wednesday, Aug. 27.
An additional signup will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 at a location to be announced.
The signup fee is $30 for one child and $50 for two children. If more than two children reside in the same household and will be playing flag football or cheerleading, the fee is $25 per each child. A form must be filled out for every child.
Payment should be sent to magoffincountyquarterbackclub@gmail.com via PayPal. If not sending as friends and family, include $2 to the total to cover fees that PayPal charges. The parent’s name and child’s name(s) should be included in the message.
