SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County is among the eight teams set to compete in the 47th Annual Mountain Schoolboy Classic.
Magoffin County is slated to make its 12th appearance in the Mountain Schoolboy Classic, which is scheduled for December 28-30 at Belfry High School Arena. The Hornets have compiled a 17-12 record in the Mountain Schoolboy Classic.
The additional teams set to compete in the 47th Annual Mountain Schoolboy Classic are Clay County, Corbin, Johnson Central, Newport, Shelby Valley and Unicoi County (Tenn.).
Clay County, Corbin and Unicoi (Tenn.) are each set to make a first appearance in the Mountain Schoolboy Classic.
Magoffin County is scheduled to face Corbin, Unicoi (Tenn.) and Clay County in the Belfry-hosted boys’ high school basketball event.
The Mountain Schoolboy Classic is scheduled to open at Belfry Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
