SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County senior Jaden Williams has signed with the Alice Lloyd College softball program.
Among the top players in the 15th Region, Williams signed with the Alice Lloyd College softball program during a ceremony held on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Williams is a longtime leader for the Hornets. Excelling throughout her junior campaign in 2023, Williams batted .478 with 43 hits, 45 RBIs, five doubles and 12 home runs. Producing offensively and defensively, Williams compiled a 17-10 pitching record with a 3.52 ERA and 150 strikeouts in 2023.
“We are very proud of Jaden,” Magoffin County Coach Tony Skaggs commented. “She has been a six-year starter, starting since the seventh grade. She’s an unbelievable hitter. She’s broke all of the school records for home runs.”
“I really want to be the best that I can be,” Williams confided. Hitting home runs is me.
“I’m looking forward to enjoying my last high school season.”
Alice Lloyd College, under the direction of Coach Nathan Hall, competes in the River States Conference (RSC).
