Dewayne Joseph, age 56, a resident of Lower Sharpsburg Road in Sharpsburg Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris, Kentucky, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Dewayne was born February 20, 1965 in Salt Lick, Kentucky the son of Elijah and Alydeen Bailey Joseph. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, two brothers in law Leeson Prater and Freddie Prater, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Those left to mourn includes fiancé Rebecca Thomas, son Brandon Joseph of Carlisle Kentucky, daughter Felicia Joseph of Lexington Kentucky, four sisters Donna Prater and Bobby Johnson of Paris Kentucky, Debbie Prater of Millersburg Kentucky, Sharon and Jacob Wireman of Salyersville Kentucky, and Sherry and Steve Pugh of Falmouth Kentucky, three brothers Gary Joseph of Salyersville Kentucky, Larry and Emma Joseph of Salyersville Kentucky, and James and Vickie Joseph of Paris Kentucky, two grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Visitation for Dewayne Joseph will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 10:30 until 12:30 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral home. Interment to follow in the Joseph Cemetery on Trace Branch.
