PIKEVILLE — Four players from champion Magoffin County were named to the All-15th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament Team.
Ethan Salyer, Walker Russell, Grayson Whitaker and Zane Whitaker represented Magoffin County on the All-15th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament Team, which was announced after the Hornets were crowned champions at Appalachian Wireless Arena on Monday, March 11.
Magoffin County defeated Martin County 67-57 in the 15th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament title game.
Magoffin County senior guard Aden Barnett was named the 15th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament MVP. Barnett scored 100 points over Magoffin County’s three games in the 15th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament.
