Juanita McCarty Ross, 83, of Rising Fawn, GA died Monday, October 19, 2020. She retired after 20 plus years of service from Chattanooga City School Systems where she worked at the Transportation Headquarters on Dodds Avenue. She attended Edgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed her fellowship time at the Dade County Senior Center.
Surviving include her loving children, Deborah Diane Mathis, David (Linetta) Ross, and Rebecca Smith all of Rising Fawn, GA. Grandchildren, Matthew Ross, Katie Mathis, David Lee Ross, Shelby Smith, Abby Smith; Great-Grandchildren, Bryce Ross, Cole Ross, and Lily Hill.
She is preceded by parents, Clyde and Rettia McCarty, 3 brothers, John David McCarty, Roosevelt McCarty, and Lanson McCarty
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at McCarty Family Cemetery in Salyersville, KY.
