SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County senior Lucas Litteral ranked as one of the state’s most productive quarterbacks during the 2020 high school football season.
Litteral led Magoffin County in both passing and rushing. The senior quarterback was consistent for the Hornets throughout the 2020 season.
Thriving through the air, Litteral completed 81 of 176 passes for 1,449 yards and 18 touchdowns.
A three-sport standout, Litteral played with poise throughout the 2020 high school football season.
Litteral, who threw eight interceptions, rushed 44 times for 207 yards and three touchdowns.
Allowing several players to get involved in the passing attack, Litteral completed at least one pass to eight different receivers during his senior campaign.
Contributing on the receiving end, Litteral reeled in a 13-yard reception from Aden Barnett.
A talented sophomore, Barnett led the Hornets in receiving, hauling in 27 receptions for 515 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Hornets averaged 31 points per game during Litteral’s senior season. Magoffin County scored 220 points during the 2020 high school football season.
