Sixth graders at Salyersville Grade School, along with their team teacher, Mrs. Haley Minix, have embarked on a new writing journey! A journalism class has now been offered to students eager to write for a purpose. Mrs. Haley’s journalism team will now partner with the Salyersville Independent to create articles that will be published weekly to keep their community updated on events happening in their school. Salyersville Grade School wants to thank the Salyersville Independent for their contribution of inspiration for our students! When asked what they will gain from this experience:
