SALYERSVILLE — Senior Walker Russell paced Magoffin County in its all-comers meet on Thursday, April 23.
Magoffin County hosted its third all-comers meet in the 2026 high school track and field season.
Russell led the way for host Magoffin County, placing first in the Boys’ Triple Jump and finishing second in both the Boys’ 400 Meter Dash and the Boys’ 110 Meter Hurdles.
A talented student-athlete and longtime leader, Russell led Magoffin County throughout the 2025-26 boys’ high school basketball season. Russell was among the 15th Region’s top boys’ high school basketball players in back-to-back campaigns.
Multiple athletes turned in strong performances for host Magoffin County during the all-comers meet.
Magoffin County is scheduled to visit rival Morgan County for another all-comers meet on Thursday, April 30.
