LEXINGTON — Runners Miley Back and Walker Russell represented Magoffin County in the KHSAA State Cross Country Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park on Saturday, Oct. 28.
Back finished the KHSAA Class 2A Girls’ 5,000 Meter Run in 30:25.35.
Russell finished the KHSAA Class 2A Boys’ 5,000 Meter Run in 20:35.48.
Both Back and Russell excelled for Magoffin County throughout the 2023 high school cross country season. Each runner will carry momentum from competing in the state meet over into 2024.
