Laney Bledsoe pitched for Magoffin County and claimed the win in the circle. Bledsoe recorded 10 strikeouts over seven innings.
Claire Whitley pitched for Elliott County and suffered the loss. Whitley logged nine strikeouts over six and one-third innings.
Magoffin County scored nine runs on 10 hits. Bledsoe (two hits, three RBIs), Jaden Williams (two hits, two RBIs), Bella Trusty (two hits, one RBI), Kiley Lemaster (two hits), Abby Barnett (one hit, two RBIs), Kayleigh Lemaster (one hit) and Maci Minix (one RBI) produced offensively for the Lady Hornets. As part of a balanced offensive attack for Magoffin County, Bledsoe, Williams and Trusty each homered.
Offensively for Elliott County, Hanah McDaniel (three hits, three RBIs), Dayna Whiddon-Bennett (two hits), Bailee Artripp (one hit, one RBI), Lily McDaniels (one hit, one RBI) and Kailey McDaniel (one hit) each contributed.
Magoffin County posted the win after suffering a shutout loss to Elliott County earlier in the season.
